POSITION TITLE:   Clerk

 

FLSA:                      Non Exempt

 

 

REPORTS TO:       

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  

 

Position Title:           Clerk - contracted for Business Department

 

Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED

                      Ability to work effectively with a team and Independently

                      Willing to accept and perform additional duties by assisting with other departments in the Central Office

                      Organizational and accounting abilities with strong attention to detail

                      Office management, administrative/clerical experience preferred           

                      Ability to work under pressure and respond to short deadlines

                      Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)

                       Willing to accept early morning and late afternoon calls  

      

Terms of

Employment:            Twelve (12) Months

Salary:                      According to Parish Salary Scale

 

Reports To:             CFO and Supervisor of Operations

Characteristics:                 Strength: Exert force to 10 lbs. occasionally, or

              a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

 

Other Physical Demands:  reaching, handling, fingering, standing, walking

                                 hearing, speaking, presenting, driving, bus riding

                                

 

 

 

 

Additional Duties may be assigned:

 

Insurance- Manage open enrollment for all existing employees and new hires.  Coordinate billing for all employees utilizing the district health insurance.   Work with 3rd party administrators and submit claims to the state for insurance. REconcilliation of monthly insurance deductions.  

Additional insurance duties associated with Office of Group Benefits and other 3rd party providers.  Additional Duties assigned by CFO.
